The secret of taco seasoning

Tuo is really excited about finding an all natural taco seasoning!

Last weekend we had a friend couple over for lunch . My wife and I had been thinking about what to cook while we were in Coles. She randomly picks up this taco seasoning and asks me to cook taco.

I was super excited about 2 things: first, we finally know what to do!, second, about this taco seasoning! If you know me well, I am totally obsessed with cheap, healthy, and easy to consume foods people can easily find in the supermarket.

The difference between these two in color.

This one ticked pretty much all of the boxes of a healthy condiment . one of the most easy ways to judge a product is healthy or not is to make sure that there should not be any ingredient on the list you don't know. Sometimes you see the products with a lot of chemical numbers and names on the package. The ingredients of this product are garlic, onion, paprika, cumin, salt, tomato powder, coriander, parsley, pepper, thyme, basil, chilli. Even my 6 year-old knows what these ingredients are!

  • Per 100g, regular taco seasoning has 34g added sugar while this one only have 7g and it is pure natural from spice and herbs.

  • No refined carbs e.g. sugar, maize flour and maltodextrin at all!

  • Per 100g, regular seasoning has 6600mg sodium while this one only has 2000mg.

My guest has not complained the taste. I ticked this as a big YES! unless my guests is super polite! I have t confess I don't have a clinical trial to prove that, lol.
